Genre & Voice
We seek original works that challenge the status quo.

Whether it's poetry, prose, photography, or art, your voice must be authentic and unapologetic.
Length & Format
All written submissions must be in .docx or .pdf format, in formal, readable fonts (i.e. EB Garamond, Times New Roman) with the exception of fonts being changed for creative expression. Citron Lit will do its best to keep submitted works in its original form.

Poetry:

Submit a maximum of three poems per issue, each piece being no longer than two pages.Â

Prose:
Â
Submit a maximum of two pieces of prose per issue, each piece being less than 1,200 words.

Photography and art:Â

Submit a maximum of three artworks/photos per issue.
Submit as a JPEG or PNG file.Â
Â
Citron Lit does not accept any fanart or AI generated work at this time.
Please make sure all your submission are your original work. Â

If it has been over two weeks, please feel free to inquiry from the email attached below.
Rights & Ownership

By submitting, you grant us the right to publish your work in our magazine, on our website, and on any forms of social media present.
Â
While our issues are forthcoming, we ask that you grant us first serial rights until the issue is published, then all copyrights to your original work(s) revert back to you.
Â
If your work if first published at Citron Lit, we ask that if your work is accepted anywhere else, please credit Citron Lit as the first publication.
