We are currently OPEN for submissions!

We aim to respond to all submissions within 5 days. You may query your submission after one week.

Simultaneous submissions and previously published pieces are welcome. If your piece was previously published, please let us know where so we can credit the original publication.

Submit only once per category per quarterly submissions cycle. You may submit in more than one category.

*Poetry:

Submit a maximum of three poems per issue, each piece being no longer than two pages.

All submissions must be submitted as a Word Document or PDF, in 11-pt or 12-pt EB Garamond 1.5 spacing with the exception of fonts being changed for creative expression. Keep in mind that our house font is EB Garamond, but Citron Lit will do its best to keep submitted works in its original form.

Please make sure all your submissions are your original work. Plagiarism of any kind will NOT be tolerated.

POETRY SUBMISSION FORM

*Prose:

Submit a maximum of two pieces of prose per issue, each piece being less than 1,200 words.

All submissions must be submitted as a Word Document or PDF, in 11-pt or 12-pt EB Garamond 1.5 spacing with the exception of fonts being changed for creative expression. Keep in mind that our house font is EB Garamond, but Citron Lit will do its best to keep submitted works in its original form.

Please make sure all your submissions are your original work. Plagiarism of any kind will NOT be tolerated.

PROSE SUBMISSION FORM

*Photography and art:

Submit a maximum of three artworks/photographs per issue.

Submit as a JPEG or PNG file.

Citron Lit does not accept any fanart or AI generated work at this time.

Please make sure all your submissions are your original work. Plagiarism of any kind will NOT be tolerated.

ART & PHOTOGRAPHY SUBMISSION FORM

By submitting, you grant us the right to publish your work in our magazine, on our website, and on any forms of social media present.

While our issues are forthcoming, we ask that you grant us first serial rights until the issue is published, then all copyrights to your original work(s) revert back to you.

If your work if first published at Citron Lit, we ask that if your work is accepted anywhere else, please credit Citron Lit as the first publication.
